today i was driving around and was struck by the fairy tale i live. im under lots of work pressure and struggling to adjust, but somehow things are great and i think there are a few reasons.
there is a girl. shes got faith and shes got looks and she is really fun. we did dinner last night and it was really nice. somehow i had actually forgotten the excitement that something like this brings.
then today i spent the morning working, but it was ok because it was in a coffee shop with good friends. we got some trini inspired food together for lunch and that was real nice too.
and then i took some work with me to go watch my football lose yet another game. driving home on my bike along the shore i watched a cruise ship creep away from the island.
i would be foolish not to take a moment to pause every so often in appreciation for my life. i've been given everything i could ever want and more in a dream country. times of stress and frustration seem so trivial and silly when im able to glimpse the bigger picture. tonight im going to sit an reflect and just be thankful.
